The Majestic Royal Oculus Avis, the wise elder of the herd.
My original artwork was created with India ink and watercolor.
This is one in a series of surreal birds that flew out of my subconscious.

'Oculus Avis' is Latin for Eye Bird. 
Sometimes, creatures from my mind require Latin names. 
The Majestic Royal Oculus Avis had a nice Audubon-esque ring to it. :)
