'Caribbean Morning' Bottle Nose Dolphin Watercolor – Archival Art Print
Caribbean Morning
Watercolor
A self-portrait of sorts – with a dolphin friend.
We shared many wonderful sunrise morning swims together, but this one morning, I left the sea with the mission of trying to capture our bond, the joy, love, and trust we shared in a painting.
This is how I like to start my day: with her playing, talking, and begging me to come into the sea. "I want to finish my cup of tea first. It is just now sunrise." She looks me in the eye and squints, wondering what to do next to entice me to get into the sea and play with her. Then she huffs, rolls over on her back, and slowly sinks – without taking her eyes off mine. Perfect reply. A bit over-the-top Drama Queen. I laugh. She wins. I'm in, to play until my fingers prune.
"Lots of people talk to animals. Not very many listen, though. That’s the problem." - Winnie the Pooh
Orginal watercolor was 22" x 30" on Arches cold-press watercolor paper.
